The next phase: Mixing the album!

Now that the recording session has taken place, the next phase of the project is to send the recording of the five movements to the five scoring mixers. Jeff Vaughn, Casey Stone, Alan Meyerson, Brad Haenel and John Kurlander are the five generous and talented men who are lending their time and efforts to help with the symphony effort. We'll keep you posted as the project moves forward!

Rehearsals are continuing on the final and fifth movement. Music by Deborah Lurie, Bruce Broughton, Timothy Michael Wynn, Jeff Beal, Marvin Hamlisch and Pete Seibert round out the final ensemble.

They are currently rehearsing some tough percussive spots, and are going to start recording shortly.

The orchestra is still working hard on the finale of the fourth movement, which is a hybrid of Ed Shearmur and Dave Grusin's sections.

The fourth movement begins with music from Oscar winning composer Dave Grusin. It is then followed by Ed Shearmur, Michael Wandmacher and Nathan Barr.

After lunch, rehearsal commenced in the third movement of the symphony. Featuring music from John Debney, Christopher Young and Tyler Bates, the piece starts out tranquil and a lot of people crowded in the booth to hear it.
